Our bar features genuine railroad rails incorporated into its design and a locomotive themed craft cocktail menu. With multiple power outlets for patrons as well as several TVs to catch a big game, we welcome visitors from both near and far!

Our Story
Established with a vision to preserve the spirit of the York County Heritage Rail Trail that once connected towns and brought people together, Heritage Rail Tavern is more than just a place to eat and drink—it’s a tribute to a bygone era. Set in a locomotive-themed ambiance, with rustic décor and genuine railroad rails incorporated into the bar design, our tavern offers a nostalgic trip back to the days when train whistles filled the air and travel was an adventure.
Our goal was to honor York, Pennsylvania’s rich contributions to American history and celebrate the historical significance of the area. Did you know that President Abraham Lincoln traveled through this area’s railroads on his way to give the Gettysburg’s Address?
